Magnificent Masks

A big thank you to all the magnificent mask makers who came down to the Discover CentreĀ in Stratford on Saturday!

Everyone did a marvellous job – we all had a great sticky, painty, messy afternoon! Thanks too to Kate and Jonathan at Discover for their hard work, help and tea!

Karen and the real Stripy Horse?

And these are surely stripy horse’s dotty little sisters?

If you couldn’t come along, we plan to upload a template and instructions on how to make your own stripy horse mask very soon- keep your eyes peeled!

Who’s This Stripy Horse?

Here’s Karen as you’ve never seen her before! She’s been hard at work making Stripy Horse masks for our storytelling and art workshop at Stratford’s wonderful Discover story centre in East London – find out more about itĀ here.

This will be our second visit to Discover – we’ll be reading ‘Look Out, Stripy Horse!’ and ‘Hold On Tight, Stripy Horse!’ then helping everyone make their own mask to take home.

Its all happening on Saturday 17th July, and the event is absolutely free – so do come along if you can!
