Stripy Springtime Fun

Just like Stripy Horse in his new adventure, we’ve been on our wind-blown journey these last few weeks. It started off with a wonderful morning at our  local bookshop, Kirkdale Books – thank you Geraldine, Joy, Barry and Jonathan for your support as always. There were lots of small and big people to squash inside, but we managed it! And take a look at this terrific stripy mask…

Then we headed east to Norfolk. It was chilly and the daffodils were down, but we had great weekend. The Bookhive  is a fabulous, fish bowl of a shop, perched on a corner in the middle of town. A big thanks to Henry with his never-ending coffees, and of course to everyone who came along!

Afterwards we popped up to see Marilyn Brocklehurst at the amazing, wind powered Norfolk Children’s Book Centre, on the road to Cromer. Karen added a Stripy Horse to the illustrations on the walls, whilst I ate lots of biscuits. You can find out more about the incredible work that Marilyn does for schools and colleges up and down the country here.
