Stripy Horse – Cut-Out Characters

Happy 2012 everyone! We’ve been busying away this month with lots of new Stripy things, more news on these soon.

In the meantime, in case you haven’t seen them, have a look at the fantastic paper Stripy Horse characters below.

Karen has put the templates up on our website to download here - all you need to do is cut them out, colour them in and stick them together using cardboard tubes… easy peasy!

New Stripy Horse Masks!

We had a great time at the ‘Word Up Festival’ a few weeks back. A big thank you to all the eagle-eyed monkey counters who came along: you did a marvellous job!

For anyone who missed out on a ticket and the chance to make a mask, you can now create your own at home by clicking the links below and following the instructions.

Spot The Real Stripy Horse…

We visited St Monica Infant school in Southampton a few weeks ago and were amazed to see so many superbly stripy flower pot horses lined up to greet us!

The children had all been making their own versions of Hermann, Muriel and Roly and Pitch too. Many thanks to Louise Ripley and all at St Monica’s for a wonderful day and for showing us all their fantastic creations.

We’ll be adding some more Stripy craft idea and projects to the fun stuff section of our website very soon, so keep checking here if you’re feeling creative…

Make your Own Stripy Horse Mask

For anyone who couldn’t make it along to the Discover Centre last month,we’ve just uploaded a template and instructions on how to make your own Stripy Horse Masks.
